Научно-техническое сотрудничество НАТО - Россия В январе 2001 г. НАТО объявила о начале специальной Программы научно-технического сотрудничества между странами НАТО и Россией. В новой программе выделены три приоритетные области, представляющие наибольший интерес для России: Отбор заявок производится на конкурсной основе. Заявки рассматриваются дважды в год Консультативной группой НАТО-Россия. Для каждого вида поддержки имеется специальная форма заявки, которая заполняется совместно учеными из России и одной или нескольких стран НАТО. Конечный срок получения заявок: 15 марта или 15 сентября. Заявка готовится на английском и русском языках, причем английская версия заполняется по форме установленного образца. Русская версия используется только в пределах России. Биография подается в указанном формате. Bd. Москва, 103009 Россия Дата обновления информации: 3.01.2001 NATO-RUSSIA JOINT SCIENTIFIC AND TECHNOLOGICAL COOPERATION A programme of scientific and technological cooperation between NATO countries and Russia has been developed, following signature of a Memorandum of Understanding on Scientific and Technological Cooperation drawn up between NATO and the Ministry of Science and Technology of the Russian Federation (now the Ministry of Industry, Science and Technology). The Memorandum was signed in May 1998, and is within the framework of the 1997 NATO-Russia "Founding Act on Mutual Relations, Cooperation and Security between NATO and the Russian Federation". The programme is guided by a Committee on NATO-Russia Joint Scientific and Technological Cooperation (JSTC), and the Committee has selected three areas of particular concern to Russia to be the focus of activities under the new programme. The areas are : Plant Biotechnology, and This programme gives scientists in Russia and the NATO countries the possibility of applying for support in the above areas for Collaborative Linkage Grants and Expert Visits, or to organize Advanced Research Workshops. Selection of applications is based on peer review, and applications are considered by a NATO-Russia Advisory Panel appointed by the JSTC Committee. The Advisory Panel meets twice each year. Scope Statements Scope statements were developed at seminars held in Moscow in October 2000 on each of the three areas. The experts participating in the seminars identified areas of common interest, and the intent of the scope statements is to provide the scientific communities in Russia and the NATO countries with orientation while developing joint applications for consideration under the NATO-Russia arrangement. Application Procedure To apply for support in any of the areas outlined in the Scope Statements, an application form for one of the activities offered should be prepared jointly by scientists from Russia and one or more NATO countries. A special application form is available for each support activity, and the forms together with Notes for Applicants may be accessed below. The deadlines for receipt of applications are 15 March and 15 September.
